About Harpoons on the Bay

Harpoons on the Bay opened its doors in September 2016, continuing a rich waterfront tradition that includes Harpoon Henry's, Wallace's Whalers Cove, and The Rendezvous. Inspired by the property's history and unmatched location on the Delaware Bay, the owners set out to create a destination where great food, great drinks, spectacular sunsets, and unforgettable memories come together.  

Now celebrating our 10th season, Harpoons has become a favorite gathering place for locals, seasonal residents, and visitors from near and far. Whether you're stopping by for brunch, lunch, dinner, happy hour, live music, or simply a cocktail by the water, you'll find the kind of laid-back atmosphere that makes it easy to lose track of time.

With panoramic bay views, fresh coastal cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, and some of the most breathtaking sunsets on the East Coast, Harpoons offers an experience that feels worlds away from everyday life. In fact, many guests say they feel more like they're in the Florida Keys than at the Jersey Shore—and we take that as a compliment.

OUR DOG POLICY - Service Dogs and Pets

Service dogs are welcome in all areas at Harpoons on the Bay. Service dogs are defined as any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability. Other dogs, including emotional support animals (ESAs), are prohibited from areas under cover, either by permanent roof or tent/canopy.

But don't worry! We have designated areas where all dogs are welcome - service dogs or pets, pure breed or mutt; we just love dogs! All we ask is that they be on their best behavior and stay on their leash. If your pup is having a bad day or typically doesn't get along well with other dogs, please leave him/her at home - there are usually several dogs at Harpoons and it's a very busy place with a lot of activity, human and canine.

Following the recent fire, Harpoons on the Bay is temporarily

unable to accommodate dogs.
At this time, we do not have a safe or appropriate dining area for pets.
